Vom 24. bis 26. Oktober findetzum sechsten mal die Experts Live Europe, früherer unter System Center Universe Europe bekannt, diesmal in Prag statt. Es ist eine großartige Konferenz auf der viele MVPs über Cloud und Infrastruktur Themen ähnlich wie auf der CDC-Germany sprechen. Wie die letzten sechs Jahre bin ich sehr stolz auch diesmal wieder als Sprecher dabei sein zu dürfen. Ich habe diesmal zwei Vorträge zum Thema Storage Spaces Direct und Azure Stack Development Kit. Meine Vorträge habe ich unten aufgeführt und hier ist ein Link zur gesamte Agenda.

Storage Spaces Direct notes from the field
This session looks at the field notes from more than 50 production deployments of Storage Spaces Direct over the past 2 years. Various scenarios are covered from two-node SMB to enterprise configurations and everything in between. We look at some lessons learned for hardware configurations, firmware updates, and core network configurations. We also review some upgrade paths to the latest release of Windows Server semi-annual channel release. Azure Stack Development Kit - the cheap Azure Development Platform
A lot of people think of Azure Stack as something that is fantastic for IaaS in their Private Cloud. But they miss a very important point: Azure Stack is a fantastic tool to develop applications against the Azure APIs. Even better there is a free version of Azure Stack called Azure Stack Development Kit that is installed on a single machine. And here is a secret: if you don’t have the Hardware that fulfills the installation requirements you can even install the ASDK in a Hyper-V VM. In this demo rich session, you learn what the Azure Stack Development Kit is, how you can install it in a Hyper-V VM and what features it offers
